Frequently asked questions.

Book your free first lesson
Is the first lesson really free?

Yes. It's a full 50-minute lesson, no different from the lessons that follow. We also assess your child's level for free, find the gaps and build a personal learning plan.

Booking doesn't require a bank card or any commitment.

How does the first lesson go?

In the first lesson your child meets the tutor and learns new material. At the same time, the tutor assesses their level, their strengths and the topics that need extra attention.

After the lesson you get a detailed report on your child's level and a plan for what comes next, with recommendations for closing the gaps.

How do you choose the tutor for my child?

Before the first lesson, we talk with you about your child's personality, interests and the way they learn. Based on that conversation, we choose a tutor your child will be comfortable with, enjoy learning with and easily find common ground with.

Will my child have the same tutor every week?

Yes. Your child works with one regular tutor, who over time gets to know their personality, strengths and difficulties better. That builds a relationship of trust and makes the learning more consistent.

What if my child doesn't get along with the tutor?

We'll find another tutor your child is more comfortable working with.

Who are the tutors?

We choose our tutors carefully: on average, we accept only 1 in 130 applicants. We look not only at their professional background, but at how well they connect with children. Once accepted, every tutor is trained in our method.

How much do lessons cost?

The price depends on how many lessons a week. Besides the lessons themselves, the program includes extra practice to reinforce the material, help between lessons and practice exams.

On our first call, we'll talk through your child's needs, the right number of lessons a week and the cost.

How long is a lesson?

50 minutes.

What time are lessons?

Lessons are at the same time every week. We agree on a schedule that suits your family in advance.

Are lessons online? Do we need to download anything?

Yes, lessons are online, on our own interactive platform. Your child and the tutor can solve problems, draw and play math games together.

There's nothing to install. Before the lesson we send you a link; just open it in Google Chrome.

What language are lessons in?

Lessons are in English, with English-speaking tutors. Our team also speaks Russian, so you can discuss all the arrangements with us in Russian.

Which grades do you work with, and which subjects do you teach?

We teach math from kindergarten to 12th grade, and we also work with college students. We also teach English to the school ELA (English Language Arts) curriculum: reading, writing and grammar.

Do you follow my child's school curriculum?

Yes. We follow your child's own school curriculum: we go over the topics they're covering in class right now, help close the gaps, and prepare them for tests and exams, using among other things past questions from their school district and state.

Do you prepare for exams?

Yes. We prepare for school tests, state exams, and for STAAR, SHSAT, Regents, SAT, ACT and AP.

How will I know the lessons are working?

After every lesson you get a detailed report: which topics your child worked on, what went well, what was difficult and what comes next.

Do I need to be at the lessons or help my child with homework?

No. After every lesson your child gets homework, plus a separate file with the answers and step-by-step explanations, so they can check their own work and understand their mistakes.

If questions or difficulties come up, our team helps with the homework between lessons too.

How do I reach you?

Text us at +1 (855) 788-5384 or email [email protected].

Your first lesson is free. Not a trial, a real lesson.

Your child spends a full 50 minutes with a tutor, works through a new topic, and gets to try our way of teaching.

And you get to see how comfortable your child is with the tutor, and whether they enjoy the lessons.

After the lesson, we tell you what your child already does well, where the gaps are, and what to work on next.

No obligation. Just come, meet us, and see whether it's right for your child.
